Is there hope???

Lemhi County Crisis Intervention offers hope to victims of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault and dating violence.  The first step in healing or changing an abusive environment and the abusive behaviors within it involves becoming honest with yourself and others.  Often we feel too scared or embarrassed to ask for help.
NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO SUFFER THE TERRIBLE PAIN OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE BY REMAINING SILENT.

What can a victim do??

If you are a victim of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault and dating violence,
call Lemhi County Crisis Intervention.

You will gain the needed support to determine the degree of danger you are in, to evaluate your situation, and to consider your options.  If shelter is necessary, the staff and/or volunteers will help you and inform you of what other agencies can do to assist you, in addition to Lemhi County Crisis Intervention services.  Some situations may require a civil protection order.  A staff member will assist you in filling out the protection order forms.  An advocate may accompany you to court.

What can a batterer do???

If you have been displaying abuse tendencies, please call Lemhi County Crisis Intervention.  We will arrange for you to meet with a counselor and get help to change the abusive behavior.
